Having used Lambdin as a teaching aid for more than ten years, however, Williamson has become aware of some areas in which students still find difficulty. Lambdin was my textbook when I first studied Hebrew Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read.

The lack of a key to the many exercises in the book has been widely regretted, but this lack is made good with the present publication.

The appendix has useful lwmbdin charts for weak verbs that are a useful reference for pastors and Bible students studying Biblical Hebrew. Marisol rated it really liked it Aug 10, The cover text celebrates the use of a special paper in the printing process that could better take the delicate vowel-pointing on the text, but the pointing would have been clearer with a LARGER FONT.
It is the presentation that warrants the 3 stars. The choice of vocabulary and grammar, in this book, is essentially an introduction to the prose, not the poetical language.
